Knicks closing deal to hire Thibodeau

The New York Knicks are pinning their hopes on a man who had a run-in with Jimmy Butler in their bid to return to prominence.

The Big Apple squad is tapping former Minnesota Timberwolves and Chicago Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau as their next head coach.

Knicks owner James Dolan and Tom are ironing out a five-year deal. Thibodeau  edged  out other candidates like Dubs’ associate head coach Mike Brown and assistant coach Jason Kidd of the Los Angeles Lakers.

Los Angeles Clippers guard Lou Williams made a side trip during his excused absence at the NBA bubble that landed him in trouble.

Williams was photographed in a gentleman’s club – a.k.a. strip club in Atlanta. He admitted that he was there and the league is
now after him.

Several extra days in quarantine at the bubble are possible for the Sixth Man of the Year awardee for his red light detour in Atlanta. 

WNBA pays homage to Breonna Taylor

Breonna Taylor, the woman who was gunned down by police in her home in Kentucky, is being honored by the WNBA all throughout the season.

The New York Liberty and Seattle Storm honored her prior to tipoff through a 26-second moment of silence.

Warriors, T-Wolves, Cavs, 5 other teams to scrimmage

We will be seeing the eight teams not at the bubble in Orlando.

The NBA is nearing a deal to allow Golden State, Minnesota, Cleveland, Atlanta, Detroit, New York, Chicago, and Charlotte to work out and scrimmage. The “Delete Eight” say these are needed to continue the development of young players.
